Over 40 specialized camps, regular camps, registration dates, resident priority and tax credits: a guide to day camps in Brossard.

Updated October 31, 2026 · 1 min read

Every summer, thousands of Brossard kids spend their holidays at the City’s day camps. Spots go fast: here’s how to get ready.

What the City offers

For summer 2026, the City of Brossard announced more than 40 specialized camps (sports, arts, science, nature and other themes), in addition to its regular camps, Les Petites Frimousses and Les Frimousses à vos trousses, for children aged 5 to 12. Camps run from June at several parks and facilities across the city. Brossard’s day camps have been certified by the Association des camps du Québec for more than 15 years.

Registration

  • it’s done online on the City’s Ludik platform;
  • residents get priority: in 2026, registration opened on April 14 at 6 p.m. for residents and on April 18 at 9 a.m. for non-residents, based on remaining spots;
  • create your account and check your proof of residence before the big day;
  • log in a few minutes before registration opens: popular camps fill up within hours.

Children with special needs

The City offers a support program to help children with special needs take part in camps. Apply early, before the registration period, with the City.

Spring break and the holidays

Camps are also offered during spring break. Registration dates are announced a few weeks ahead.

Tax credits

Day camp fees may qualify for the Quebec tax credit for childcare expenses and the federal child care expense deduction. Keep your receipts and learn more on Québec.ca and Canada.ca.

Parent checklist

  • labelled sunscreen, hat and water bottle;
  • clothes for messy activities;
  • nut-free lunch if the camp requires it;
  • up-to-date health form and list of people authorized to pick up your child.
