Data published on the REM website, consulted in October 2026. The City of Brossard shows slightly different figures on its transportation page (2,948 spaces at Brossard, 304 at Panama), probably because they haven’t been updated since the recent work. When in doubt, rely on the REM’s most recent information.

Brossard station: the large terminus lot

At the end of the line, at the junction of highways 10 and 30, the Brossard station lot is by far the largest on the South Shore. According to the REM, its 2,511 free spaces include 35 universally accessible spaces, 106 carpool spaces, 60 spaces with an EV charging station and 12 motorcycle spaces. The 332 paid spaces are managed by Indigo.

In late August 2026, the REM announced that paid spaces at several stations, including Brossard, would be converted to free spaces starting September 1, 2026, depending on the progress of work by its partner Indigo. Monthly pass holders keep reserved spaces.

How to get there by car

  • Via boulevard de Rome.
  • Via Highway 10 toward Montreal: an overpass leads directly to the station.
  • Via Highway 10 toward Sherbrooke: there is a dedicated exit.
  • Via Highway 30, using the existing boulevard de Rome ramps.

A drop-off area, with spaces for taxis, shared taxis and paratransit taxis, is located near the station’s south entrance.

Panama station: expansion completed in 2026

The Panama station lot was the subject of an expansion project launched in 2025. According to the REM, the work is complete and, since September 2026, the lot has 360 free spaces and 75 paid spaces. The paid area was moved closer to the station entrance. The free spaces include 6 universally accessible spaces, 8 carpool spaces, 4 spaces with a charging station and 2 motorcycle spaces.

Access is via rue Philippines, from avenue Panama or boulevard Pelletier. A drop-off area is located near the Panama terminus. The terminus is also where you’ll find the metropolitan ticket office, where you can buy your transit fares.

Du Quartier station: no parking

The REM is clear: no parking is offered to users at Du Quartier station. The nearby spaces belong to Quartier DIX30 and are reserved for its customers. If you live near this station, walk, bike (the station has bike racks), take an RTL bus or use the drop-off area shown on the REM’s access map.

Free or paid: how it works

According to the REM’s FAQ, two types of spaces coexist in the park-and-ride lots:

  • Free spaces: the majority of spaces, some of which are reserved for carpooling, people with reduced mobility and charging electric vehicles.
  • Paid spaces: managed by Indigo, they are available as a monthly subscription (Indigo website or app) or as a same-day reservation on site. Quantities are limited and a waiting list may be set up for subscriptions.
Paid optionRate published by the REM (taxes and fees included)
Day$10.29
Month$121.30 ($105.50 before taxes)

The REM notes that there are no pay stations in the lots and you don’t need to display proof of payment on your dashboard. Since summer 2026, advance reservations for a future day are no longer possible; only the monthly subscription and same-day reservations remain available. Rates may change: check them on the REM or Indigo website.

Practical tips for finding a spot

  • Arrive early on weekdays: the free spaces closest to the entrances fill up quickly at rush hour.
  • If you share your ride, use the carpool spaces, which are often better located.
  • If you absolutely need a guaranteed space, the paid monthly subscription is the only predictable option.
  • Consider taking an RTL bus to the station: several routes serve the Brossard and Panama terminuses.
  • Before leaving, check the REM’s service status: during interruptions, shuttles may depart from other locations.
