Every year, Brossard homeowners receive their municipal tax bill at the beginning of the year. Here are the dates to remember for 2026 and how to avoid late payments.
The 4 instalments for 2026
- 1st instalment: February 11, 2026
- 2nd instalment: April 13, 2026
- 3rd instalment: June 12, 2026
- 4th instalment: August 11, 2026
Put these dates in your calendar or schedule your payments in advance with your financial institution. A late instalment may result in interest: the terms are shown on your bill.

- Check whether your mortgage lender pays the taxes for you or whether it’s up to you.
- Also budget for the property transfer duties: see our welcome tax calculator.
Estimating your taxes
Shopping for a house or condo? Our property tax calculator gives you a ballpark figure, and our guide to house and condo prices helps you understand the market. School taxes are billed separately, by the school service centre.
Dates and terms may change from year to year: always check your bill and the City’s website.
